Burna Boy, Rema, Tems, CKay, and Fireboy DML, Nigerian music icons, have been included in the “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” soundtrack’s official tracklist.
The highly anticipated tracklist, which features various African performers as well as several Nigerian stars, was revealed on November 2nd.
There are 19 records in total, with Burna Boy listed as the performer of the second track, “Alone,” and Tems listed as the performer of the next tune, “No Woman, No Cry.”
The ninth tune, “Coming Back For You,” features Fireboy DML. While Rema is credited on two tracks, Wake Up with Nigerian producer and singer, Bloody Civilian, and on Pantera with Mexican rapper, Aleman, CKay is featured alongside English vocalist, Pink Pantheress.
The Black Panther soundtrack tracklist is a highly regarded production that has previously featured the likes of American rappers Kendrick Lamar and SZA. It features fast-rising Nigerian American rapper, Tobe Nwigwe, and his spouse and singer, Fat Nwigwe.
Nigerians and other Africans are prominently featured on this tracklist for the first time in the film series. Additionally, African artists like Busiswa, Kamo Mphela, DBN Gogo, and others are included on the album tracklist.
