Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe, popularly known as Kizz Daniel, was given a plaque by Boomplay for having 500 million streams on their platform. It was presented to Kizz Daniel by Director of Artist & Media Relations of Boomplay, Tosin Sorinola, at his Afroclassic 2022 show that was held in Lagos on Saturday 17th December 2022.
In this year alone, ‘Barnabas’ was one of the songs that made Kizz Daniel’s impressive run going, and he went on to dominate charts across the country. BUGA also made 1 million streams in 24 hours after it was released and having the number one spot in Nigeria, Ghana, Cameroon, Zimbabwe, Togo, Zambia, DRC, Benin and Sierra Leone.
Earlier this year, Boomplay made it known that Kizz Daniel was the first artist to hit 100 million streams in less than six months with his fourth studio project “Barnabas EP” on their platform.
